THE FARM

Blegberry Farm stands proud on the North Devon cliffs and nestles in a Designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are proud of our SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) and farm over 500 acres of arable, beef & sheep. The unspoilt cliff top location of the farmhouse offers breathtaking views along the coast and out to Lundy, the Atlantic and beyond. The coastal footpath leads from the farm and winds through cornfields and meadows to the small & secluded Berry Beach offering rock pools galore.  The path continues along miles of uninterrupted Heritage Coast footpath offering pubs and lighthouses along the magnificent rugged coastline. Blegberry is an ideal location for nature lovers, walkers, families and those seeking total relaxation.

We encourage guests to join in the daily farming activities, helping with the lambing (Jan-May), sheep shearing, feeding the calves, collecting the eggs, feeding the chickens & ducks and most importantly, cuddling the ponies and Hank the donkey!

Hartland village is only a five minute drive (3 miles) and provides plenty of amenities including grocery stores selling fresh bread and local produce, a post office, off licence, cash point, pubs, restaurants, galleries and arts & crafts workshops. We are also situated within easy reach of leisure centres, activity parks, beaches, historic houses, shops and eateries.
