Adjoining the main farmhouse, Puffin House was built in 1627 and fortified against attacks by pirates landing from the cove below. The accommodation is very spacious, comfortable and stylish and furnished with a mixture of traditional and contemporary furniture, fabric and accessories. This stylish 17th century self catering farmhouse is oozing character and charm.

The cliff top location of Puffin House offers breathtaking views across rolling countryside down to the sea and Lundy Island. A footpath leads from the property through fields studded with wild flowers to the small secluded rock, sand and shingle beach and miles of heritage coast footpath sweep along this magnificent Atlantic coastline

This is an ideal location for families and true nature lovers, cyclists, walkers, riders, kite flyers and those just seeking pure relaxation. Guests are welcome to roam the working farm and observe or join in the daily farming activities. For the children, we encourage donkey and pony grooming, egg collecting, feeding lambs, chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl and making a fuss of the farm dogs (all friendly & kind).

The Kitchen recently renovated to reveal the 17th century inglenook fireplace and well equipped with all the mod cons to make your holiday as easy as possible, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, fridge freezer, plenty of crockery & cutlery.

The Lounge has plenty of big squashy sofas, TV/DVD, children's toy box, library for children & adults.

The Family Bedroom provides a pine king-size bed and single metal bed.

The Pink Bedroom has pine bunk beds and looks over the Hartland peninsular.

The Nautical Bedroom has two single beds and overlooks the cliffs to Hartland Quay

The Eve Bedroom is a large double bedroom with brass & iron bed and far reaching views to the Cornish coast.

The Bathrooms:  a large shower room with toilet, sink & heated towel rail. A bathroom with sink. Separate WC.

The Courtyard Garden is a secure, pretty cottage style arrangement with garden furniture

The Play Area: a 2 minute walk, providing a safe area for the children to play and burn off some energy. It has a large trampoline, wooden play equipment, ride-ons and football net.
